The Braves in Infrared

The Braves team photographer, Pouya Dianat, took some photos of the Braves using a camera modified to take infrared photos.  There’s a slideshow at the NY Times site here.
I like infrared photography.  It’s kind of a hot trend in wedding photography now, because it makes skin look flawless and luminous.  
The grass looks white due to the “wood effect.”  You can’t really see it in these photos, but landscape-type infrared photos will be sharper and clearer, because infrared cuts through atmospheric haze better than visible light.
